Setup and loading

No load, or with a plate or ball.

How to do the russian twist step by step

  1. Sit with your knees bent and your torso leaning back to form a V.
  2. Arms straight out in front with your hands together.
  3. Rotate your torso to one side and then the other.

Form cues

  • Chest tall
  • Rotate from your torso

Common mistakes

  • Hunching your back
  • Moving only your arms

3 x 8-15 or 20-45 s

3-4 sets of 20-45 seconds or 8-12 slow reps. Rest 45 to 60 seconds.
