Who we are
About Muscle Atlas
Muscle Atlas started with a simple idea: anyone should be able to train with purpose, whether they are starting from zero or have years in a sport.
Why it exists
Training advice is often scattered, contradictory, or assumes you already know the basics. We wanted one organized place to find an exercise, understand how to do it and why it works, try it, and then build your own training from there.
That is why everything is laid out like a map: by muscle, equipment, goal and sport, so you can get to what you need in a few clicks.
What you'll find
- A library of 528 exercises with step-by-step form, the most common mistakes, and sets and reps for your goal.
- An idea bank for coaches who want to vary sessions or adapt strength work to each sport.
- Guided programs for 16 sports, built to get you started with a clear week-by-week plan.
- Free calculators for pace, heart rate zones, swimming, cycling, one-rep max and triathlon, to make sense of your data and plan better.
- 32 gear comparison articles so you buy with information, not on impulse.
- Short routines for training at home when time is tight.
How we work
- We check technique and training guidelines against reference sources in sports science.
- In our comparisons we use real store prices and ratings, and we always show the date.
- No brand pays to be featured or reviews what we write.
- If you spot a mistake, we fix it: write to us and we will check it.
An important note
What we publish is for guidance only and does not replace advice from a doctor, physical therapist or qualified coach. If you have an injury or a health condition, check with a professional before you start.
