How to do the cross-body crunch step by step

  1. Lie down with your knees bent and your hands behind your head.
  2. Curl up, bringing one shoulder toward the opposite knee as it comes in to meet it.
  3. Return and repeat on the other side.

Form cues

  • Lead with your shoulder, not just your elbow
  • Exhale on the way up

  • Pulling your head with your hands

3-4 sets of 20-45 seconds or 8-12 slow reps. Rest 45 to 60 seconds.
