Handle held with both hands, arms straight.

How to do the cable russian twist step by step

  1. Lie on a stability ball perpendicular to the cable with the handle at chest height.
  2. Arms extended straight up and hips raised.
  3. Rotate your torso, pulling the handle away from the cable, and return under control.

Form cues

  • Hips high the whole time
  • Your arms follow your chest

Common mistakes

  • Letting your hips drop
  • Bending your arms
