How to do the captain's chair knee raise step by step

  1. Support yourself on your forearms in the captain's chair with your back against the pad.
  2. Raise your knees toward your chest.
  3. Lower slowly without swinging.

  • Curl your pelvis at the top

3-4 sets of 6-12 reps (up to 15-20 on isolation exercises) at 65-80% of your max. Rest 1 to 2 minutes.
