An adidas tracksuit works for the gym, the couch or the street, but they're not all made from the same fabric. Fleece is warm and comfy; smooth knits look sharper and dry faster. We picked seven options from adidas.es, for women, men and kids, so you know what you're buying before you order. Prices from adidas.es (Spain) on October 12, 2026. Sale prices may change.

French terry: fleece with loops on the inside and a smooth face. It's soft and warm without overheating, the classic sweatshirt fabric. Great for lounging and cool days.
Tricot and piqué: smooth, slightly shiny knits, the fabrics of classic '70s and '80s tracksuits. They drape well, resist pilling and look sharper. adidas lists the current Beckenbauer as piqué.
Interlock: a double knit, soft on both sides and a bit thicker than a T-shirt. It's what the Lazyday uses.
Recycled polyester: adidas uses it across many lines (Primegreen, Dayready). It dries fast and handles washing well, but it's less warm than cotton fleece.
adidas lists every model here that gives fit info as true to size, so order your usual size.
The Beckenbauer has a slim fit: if you want to layer a hoodie underneath or prefer a looser look, consider sizing up.
For kids' tracksuits, adidas sizes by height (for example, 116 for about 121 cm). If your kid is between sizes, go up: it'll last longer.
Wash inside out, cold or at 30 °C (86 °F), with similar colors so the Three Stripes don't bleed.
Skip fabric softener on technical fabrics (Climacool, AEROREADY): it clogs the fibers and they dry slower.
Avoid the dryer: it shrinks fleece and damages logos and embroidery. Line dry in the shade.

For women, the Dayready (€49 on sale) is the most versatile everyday pick and the Essentials Logo French Terry the comfiest for lounging. For men, pair the Beckenbauer Track Jacket with pants, or train through winter in the Tiro 25 Winterized for €25. For kids, the Climacool Essentials Tracksuit if they play sports, or the adidas Essentials if you want the cheapest.
adidas lists most as true to size. The practical exception is the Beckenbauer, which has a slim fit: size up if you want to layer underneath.
French terry is fleece with loops on the inside and a smooth face. It's soft and warm like a sweatshirt, but lighter than brushed fleece.
Inside out, cold or at 30 °C (86 °F), no fabric softener and no dryer. That way the fabric and the Three Stripes last longer.
If you want a retro look for everyday wear, yes: it's adidas's most recognizable track jacket. For training, there are cheaper, more breathable options.
