adidas fabrics

Aeroready wicks moisture and keeps skin dry. It is the fabric in most of the Own the Run line and the DailyRun tights.

Climacool is built for heat: it disperses sweat and often comes with mesh panels for airflow, as in the adi365 Iconic tights.

Climawarm is for cold weather: insulating materials hold heat while letting sweat escape. The Own The Run winter jacket uses it.

How to dress by temperature

Above 64°F: short-sleeve tee and shorts. Go as light as possible.

50-64°F: short sleeves or a thin long sleeve, with shorts or 7/8 tights.

37-50°F: long-sleeve base layer, full tights and a light jacket.

Below 37°F: long sleeve, tights and an insulated jacket like Climawarm. Add gloves and a hat.

Rule of thumb: dress as if it were 15-20°F warmer. If you feel chilly at the start, you got it right.
